This image was a great choice, for I remember my travel-buddy commenting when I took a picture of a vintage pipe that had been turned into a handrail: "I didn't even see that!" I love that this group sees (and captures) what others might miss.

A complex metal structure of an elevated railway presents a striking example of urban infrastructure, casting shadows on the street below. Captured in black and white, the image emphasizes the intricate pattern of beams and girders that make up the overpass, with the cityscape stretching out in the distance. The cityscape is Brighton, a section of Brooklyn near Coney Island.
